From the Notebook - Arctic Tern 440ml
- FREE UK shipping for orders over £95
An east to drink IPA which belies its strength. A hoppy nose and silky smooth finish. A migration champion. Studies have shown that some birds travel over 70,000km per year. So during a bird’s lifetime, this can be more than 2 return trips to the moon or a dizzying 50 times around the earth!
This intensely hoppy and flavoursome IPA is characteristic of the Arctic Tern’s feisty nature as it fiercely defends its nest and young. Due to its migration patterns, the Arctic Tern is credited with seeing more daylight than any other creature on the planet. The sun-kissed, golden colour of this ale symbolizes this amazing fact. 6.0%abv

From the Notebook
Formed in 2012 by 2 guys with a passion for Wildlife and Real Ale, From the Notebook Ltd is all about celebrating the diversity of British wildlife through the lovely drink that is beer! The “from the notebook” brand aims to celebrate the beauty and diversity of nature through the fabulous natural product that is beer! Our “notebook” branding style is derived from a wildlife enthusiast making notebook sketches and annotations out in the field based on their observations.
This approach was inspired by the actual field sketches of Stewart Sexton a Northumbrian wildlife enthusiast, who kindly agreed to provide the lovely label drawings associated with the Seabird, Butterfly and Moth series' of beers. Endeavouring to style the beers in a way that represents the characteristics of the creatures we portray on our labels and pump clips. We call this concept “wildlife-inspired idiosyncratic beer”.
